The Rise of Rome
Rome Destroys Carthage 146 B.C. pg.154. The third Punic War was the Romans fought their third and final struggle with Carthage. Roman soldiers burned and demolished all of the city’s buildings that took Roman Soldiers about ten days to complete. Fifty thousand men, women, and children in habitants were sold into slavery. Territory of Carthage became a Roman province called Africa.

Gladiator Spartacus led a slave revolt in B.C. pg. 167. The most famous slave revolt in Italy occurred in 73 B.C. and led by the gladiator Spartacus. It involved around 70,000 slaves and broke out in south Italy. Spartacus was trapped and later killed in 71 B.C.

First Triumvirate pg. 157. A triumvirate is a government by 3 people with equal power. The three people in the first triumvirate formed in 60 B.C. Chris,Devin,Brownie,Carl.
